Now, with the updates to NR-1 (Regulatory Standard 1) in force, the role of HR and senior management in caring for employees\u2019 health is gaining even more responsibility and visibility.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4bd6a8e elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"4bd6a8e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pryorglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Imagem-2-com-o-logo-2.png\" title=\"Imagem 2 com o logo\" alt=\"Imagem 2 com o logo\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f4108ad elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f4108ad\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>NR-1 establishes the general guidelines for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and, since it was last updated, has brought relevant changes that directly impact company management.<\/p><p><strong>What has changed in NR-1?<\/strong><\/p><p>The recent updates to NR-1 bring important changes for companies and require HR to act more strategically. Among the main changes is the obligation to review the Risk Management Program (PGR). Now, in addition to physical, chemical and biological risks, companies must include psychosocial risks, such as stress, burnout and bullying.<\/p><p>In partnership with the Occupational Safety department, the HR department must ensure that all documents are up to date and in line with the new requirements, as well as promoting training for leaders and teams on the revised protocols.<\/p><p>Another important change is the formal inclusion of psychosocial risks in Occupational Risk Management (ORM). HR must create secure communication channels so that employees can report risk situations and suggest improvements, as well as promoting ongoing awareness training.<\/p><p>Companies have until May 25, 2025 to comply with the new rules. This deadline requires planning and immediate action, with the direct involvement of HR to ensure that all sectors are aligned with the legal requirements.<\/p><p><strong>What does your company need to do?<\/strong><\/p><p>The deadline for adapting to NR-1 is already in effect.
